I am coming up to my first anniversary and I am taking the time to sit back and reflect. It's been an adjustment, one many people don't realize when they first get married. It's work. But the most important work of all is to focus on the positive qualities of your spouse and to communicate, even when you are frustrated.
Using the lessons I learned this first year I am going into this next year of marriage with a goal of focusing only on what I love because what you focus on will expand. If you focus on what bugs you, all you will see is reasons to be bugged. If you focus on what you love, you can't help but be consumed by love. Focus to the point where you can no longer see anything but love, and you know without a doubt that you are the luckiest person on earth to be with your spouse.
